10 Steps to Safety
We are committed to delivering a clean and safe environment and have created a 10-step safety and hygiene process to ensure our business is as hygienic and safe as possible. Increased attention to sanitising in public areas, protective equipment, and updated training for team members are included in the new steps. These steps describe specific processes and measures that are designed to make you feel confident when you visit The Woodberry Inn.
Our 10 steps are:
1. Social distancing & One-Way Flow System
We are implementing social distancing measures using spaced floor markings throughout the establishment to include a one-way flow system.
2. Increase Hygiene
We are increasing our cleaning and disinfecting frequency throughout the business, paying attention to high touch items as well as strategically placed sanitising stations in public areas.
3. Air Circulation
We are ventilating public areas as much as possible to allow increased air circulation using open doors and windows for fresh air flow.
4. Protective Barrier & Team Member PPE
We are installing a protective screen on the bar side that services the beer garden. We have personal protective equipment available for team members.
5. Methods of Payment
We are requesting card payments only.
6. Bedroom Cleaning
We are deep cleaning after every stay. Our laundry contractor is washing all laundry at a temperature above 70°C for optimal disinfection.
7. Restaurants & Bars
We are spacing tables apart to provide social distancing (these are not to be moved), restaurant bookings and times (subject to opening) will be encouraged and timings will be spaced sufficiently. Tables are a maximum of 6 (when available).
8. Food Safety
We are adhering to the strict safety procedures while serving all food and beverages.
9. Staff & Customer Wellbeing
We will be constantly encouraging staff members to wash and sanitise their hands at regular intervals and we will be taking temperature checks for team members, when legally permitted or required.
10. Customer Track & Trace
We will issue all parties with a track and trace customer card for them to complete with their details. We will hold these cards securely on site (in accordance with GDPR rules) for 21 days as per government guidelines, after which they will be securely destroyed.
